GREENING THE GAMES

New Civil Engineer magazine ran an eight-page major project report on the London 2012 Games. The focus of the report was on how 246Ha of derelict land is being transformed from a brownfield site into a beautiful park. It charts the journey from clearing up the contaminated site, to remediating the soil and finally the introduction of plants to the site.
