Met Property Information Centre

Atkins was appointed by the UK Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) to implement an innovative new facilities management system to ensure its call centres and other critical buildings were accessible and able to function around the clock. We created a central hub for property information to help the MPS control costs, streamline processes and provide visibility of performance across its estate.

The Met Property Information Centre (MPIC) features a secure intelligent contact centre, and allows reporting and knowledge management, commercial and building audits, coordination of projects and works, and planned preventative maintenance and asset coordination. Using our innovative web-based reporting tool - Atkins Intelligence (Ai) – we also identified areas for further improvement in the MPS’ estate management.
