Atkins/Skanska appointed on strategic roads contract in UK’s South West
Atkins, together with Skanska, has been appointed by the Highways Agency to maintain and operate the strategic road network in the UK’s South West region. The contract, covering the HA’s Area 2, is for a period of five years with work due to commence in July.

Atkins has been awarded a three-year contract worth in excess of £70m by the Qatar Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning to support delivery of its multi-billion dollar transport and infrastructure programmes. These programmes underpin Qatar’s 2030 vision for world class infrastructure development.
